Come August the canning becomes a weekly event. I try to freeze around 80 bags of vegetables and
put up around 3 to 4 dozen pints of various pickles, jams and tomatoes sauces for homemade pizzas
pastas and salsa's. By September first I'm done and on Labor day weekend I plow everything under
except for some late season spinach and lettuce.
